chemists enzyme toolboxOur contribution “Enantioselective Synthesis of Industrially Relevant Amines Using an Immobilised 𝛚- Transaminase” is now published in “Applied Biocatalysis - The Chemist's Enzyme Toolbox” from Wiley. We reported a transamination protocol using a commercial immobilised 𝛚-Transaminase for the synthesis of industrially relevant amines starting from the correspondent ketones.

The strength of this new protocol is the use of a new low-cost enzyme which guarantee high yield and enantiomeric excess. Moreover, we proved the recyclability of the catalyst and also perform a scale-up of the process.
