The Doctoral School in Chemistry and Materials Science (DSCM) is pleased to invite all the staff and students of the Department of Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry (DCCI) to the end-of-year seminars of all its PhD students! We are pleased to announce the 8th edition of the Chemistry For the Future conference (CFF2024) that will take place from July 3rd to July 5th at the Department of Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry of the University of Pisa.
The programme includes:
• 7 Plenary Lectures;
• 18 Keynote Lectures;
• Several flash presentations and two poster sessions;
• Three scientific communications from companies;
• Social events (coffee breaks, happy hour, social dinner).

On the 18th of April, some of our Ph.D. students attended the XX PhD-Chem Day held in Pisa at the Congress Centre “Le Bendettine” and organised by CIRCC (Consorzio Interuniversitario Reattività chimica e catalisi - www.circc.it). During this national event, the PhD students Marco Rollo and Elisabetta Rosadoni had the opportunity to present their research works entitled “Lewis/Brønsted acidic deep eutectic solvents for plastic waste depolymerization” and “Selective C-H arylation of non-substituted imidazo[2,1-b]thiazole: towards a modular approach for biologically active compounds”, respectively.
